The revolutionary CL-S700 Series Citizen Printers are precision engineered from the very beginning to provide end users with the high quality printing and printer durability that their business requires. Citizen label and barcode printers are also designed with ease-of-use and ease-of-access in mind , with various features enabling operators to reduce machine downtime and keep their Citizen Printer performing at its maximum capabilities. One such feature on the new CL-S700 printer is its Hi-Open™ case - a heavy duty metal enclosure built to keep printer footprint down and ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation.

The Hi-Open™ case on the CL-S700 Citizen Printer opens vertically meaning that when the operator performs any internal action, the printer footprint does not increase. This is particularly advantageous when your citizen printer is situated in an environment where space is limited. For example the CL-S700 can integrate into a system where it is placed between a wall and computer tower and still retain its media loading and replacement functions.

Expanding the CL-S700 Citizen Printers ease-of-access benefits is the all-metal Hi-Lift™ Citizen Printhead Mechanism. Ensuring print reliability and precision, the printhead can be fixed in a 90° vertical position to allow for easy ribbon access and service of the machine. Ribbons are simply wrapped around the printhead thus eliminating the need to feed the ribbon through a complex mechanism. Adjustable sensors on the printhead media arm means the CL-S700 can handle a wide variety of label configurations. Additionally, ribbons for the CL-S700 Citizen Printer can be up to 450 meters long and either inside or outside wound for maximum flexibility.

The CL-S700 can also hold an 8 inches (200mm outside diameter) roll of media on a 1 inch (25mm) core for maximum operational up-time. This again makes media loading simple with unobstructed access to the media path.

INNOVATIVE CONTROLS

The CL-S700 Citizen Printer is equipped with a large, programmable front LCD control panel and an advanced Cross-Emulation™ control board that allows the printer to switch from Datamax^®to Zebra^® emulations at the touch of a button. If the printer is in standard mode and Zebra^®code is sent to the printer, the CL-S700 will display a message and offer to switch emulations automatically. A large graphic LCD screen means CL-S700 Citizen Printers are easily configurable from the front and it also provides a clear indication of the printers current status with messages like 'Media Out' or 'OnLine ready' clearly displayed to the user. The logical and simple to use menu system makes minor adjustments to printer configuration quick and and easy.

THE ARCP™ SYSTEM

Citizen's Active Ribbon Control & Positioning system (ARCP™) keeps ribbon tension throughout the length of the ribbon being used, completely eliminating ribbon wrinkle and media slippage on small or specialist media. This is especially important for longer ribbons.

Front Loading Internal Rewinder

With a front loading factory fitted internal rewinder, the CL-S700R Citizen Printer makes for easy rewinding of either the liner in peel mode or printing of batches of labels. The front of the printer drops down, offering a simple rewinder operation to the user. The integrated peel sensor waits for each label to be taken before printing another.

Upgrade to 300dpi Print Resolution
